Chocolate Filled Bon-Bons Recipe

Ingredients : Chocolate Filled Bon-Bons Recipe
3/4 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1 Egg
2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Almond extract
1 3/4 cup Flour
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Almonds, chopped (opt)
42 Chocolate kisses(hersheys)
Cream shortening,and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs, extracts and beat
well. Add flour, baking powder, salt,and nuts. Mix well. From dough
into 1 inch balls. Press each ball around a kiss so kiss is
completely enclosed. Bake on UNGREASED cookie sheet 12 minutes. DO
NOT OVERBAKE!!!!! Cool on rack. Makes 3 1/2-4 dozen.
