% Apple Pecan Pie Recipe









Ingredients : % Apple Pecan Pie Recipe

1 Unbaked 9" pie shell
Filling:
6 cup Apples, peeled, sliced
1/2 cup Light brown sugar
1/4 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Flour
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Butter
Topping:
1/4 cup Light brown sugar
1/4 cup Flour
2 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Chpd pecans



Instructions : % Apple Pecan Pie Recipe

Preheat oven 425 F.

Steam apple slices in 1-2T water in a covered saucepan, 5 mins. Remove
from heat and add sugars, salt, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon juice, and
butter. Mix well; turn into unbaked pie shell.

Topping:
Blend sugar, flour, and butter. Sprinkle on top of pie. Sprinkle nuts over

pie topping.
Cover top of pie with foil; bake 15 mins then reduce temp to 375 F, remove

foil; bake 30-40 mins longer.

My notes:
This is a nice pie. This is the pie the author of the cookbook urged
everyone to try.
