Almond Apple Bread Recipe









Ingredients : Almond Apple Bread Recipe

1/2 cup Margarine, Hollywood
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp egg substitute, dried plus 4 T water
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 tsp orange rind, grated
2 cup barley flour
1 tsp baking soda
5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup orange juice
1 cup apples, finely chopped
1/2 cup almonds, chopped



Instructions : Almond Apple Bread Recipe

Cream together the margarine and the sugar. Beat in the egg substitute,
vanilla, and orange rind.

Stir together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Add
these dry ingredients to the creamed margarine alternately with the orange
juice.

Fold in the apples and almonds.

Turn the dough into 3 greased 6X4 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350ø for 45 to
50
minutes; test for doneness. Cool 10 minutes in the pan. Makes 3 loaves.
