Ingredients : Kaneohe Banana Fritters Recipe
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 egg, separated
1/4 lemon juice
3/4 cup milk
1 bananas, halved or cut into
1 diagonal pieces
Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar. Combine egg yolk and
lemon juice (recipe does not stipulate amount, but I would assume it
was 1/4 cup) and add to dry ingredients. Add milk slowly. Beat egg
white. Fold in last. Dip bananas in batter and fry in deep fat.
Serve hot.
