Ingredients : Basics: Barley Recipe
2 cup Vegetable or chicken stock
-or water
1/4 tsp Salt
1 cup Pot or pearl barley
Basics for new cooks:
In saucepan, bring water and salt to boil over high heat; stir in
barley. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until
tender and liquid has evaporated. Makes about 3 cups, or 4 servings.
