Ingredients : Double Berry-Almond Buckle Recipe
BERRY FILLING
1 pt blackberries
1/2 pt red raspberries
1/3 cup granulated sugar
ALMOND CAKE TOPPING
1 cup white flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
6 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp grated lemon zest from 1/2 lemon
1 egg, beaten and
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp almond extract
3 tbsp milk
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 pt vanilla ice cream, (optional)
OR
1 1/2 pt frozen yogurt
1 cup crème fraîche or heavy cream, (optional)
